Although highly intelligent are placed on a pedestal in multiple outlets throughout society, they are propelled from other areas. They are seen as arrogant and rude. Their input is sometimes devalued and ignored. Many of these issues are related to self-sabotaging habits such as low self-esteem, fear of failure and lack of motivation and sociability. Rather than seeing their ability to cognitively respond and understand information presented, it is seen as a wall separating them from the real world.
