Our goal is to encourage every individual to be the person you dreamed of being, to embrace your individuality on every level, to soar for more, to shine your light, and to shed the burdens that once held you back. Being part of our community is exciting and unique, it inspires and motivates beyond the boundaries we once all faced. For the visionaries who see the world differently and the changemakers shaking things up no matter where they go. Push your limits, be you, be free, be BlerdOut. Join the movement, shine bright, and embrace your inner Blerd.

To counteract that isolation and encourage continued progression for all Blerds, BlerdOut was established to connect social circles and organize events between like-minded peers. We recognize it as a lifestyle choice, a movement to embrace and nurture every person as they are. We encourage, motivate, and challenge everybody to be better, smarter, quicker - without shame, without judgment, without worry.

Being part of the BlerdOut movement is a statement, it’s a vision, it’s a commitment to join an ever-growing community of go-getters and trail-blazers. It’s the mindset that passion, perseverance, and self-motivated work pays off, that you should never give up on your dream, you should never try to blend in, you should never stop being you, no matter what.

BlerdOut In the Midst of Greatness

How It Began

BlerdOut was established to support and unite people across the globe who are destined for bigger things, who think outside the box, and who strive to change the world one step at a time. Being a little nerdy doesn’t mean you are uncool; taking an interest in your education isn’t boring. In fact, to us, being nerdy is the essence of your authenticity. It is the core of your coolness, and we love that about you. Where intelligence meets cool, uniqueness meets smart. BlerdOut is on a mission to change the dialogue, lead the charge, and make ‘nerdy’ things cool and smart people the definition of awesome.

Founder and visionary for BlerdOut, Terrence Southern, wanted to create a safe space for people to shine their intelligence bright without compromise. He found that far too often, children, as products of their community, cannot excel in areas like science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Although in grade school, children are praised for being smart, directed towards special classes, and encouraged to continue with their special talents, as time goes on, taking part in special classes can be isolating, further distancing the gap between students and their peers.
